Chester the Horse needs a home
Chester is just the coolest guy. When he arrived at the Sanctuary, he was several hundred pounds underweight and completely covered in ticks. But you should see him now, he is the picture of health - shiny and gorgeous! He is in his mid to late twenties, so it does our hearts good to see him feeling so well and running around his pasture. He is in exceptionally good health for his age. Chester was used as a riding horse for most of his life, but has earned and is greatly enjoying his retirement. He is one of those fellers who gets along well with absolutely anyone we put him with, so he would make the perfect pasture pal for any horse who needs a buddy. He is slightly shy with people, but is easy to catch and a good sport about whatever needs to be done, which is typical of a Right-brained Introvert.If you have room for a wonderful older horse in your life who is just a darn good boy, consider Chester - to know him is to love him.
